Description

A reputable and well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a strong interest or background in healthcare litigation to join their team. This is a fully remote opportunity offering long-term growth, mentorship, and exposure to sophisticated work in the managed healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a range of complex litigation matters with a focus on healthcare and breach of contract disputes

Draft motions, discovery, pleadings, and legal memoranda

Conduct legal research, investigations, and case strategy development

Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in California

1+ years of litigation experience; healthcare litigation experience or a strong interest in managed healthcare law preferred

Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Requirements

Must be a licensed attorney with active bar admission.

At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation.

Strong skills in drafting motions and conducting briefing.

Proficient in discovery processes, including document review and analysis.

Experience in taking and defending depositions.

Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.

Familiarity with arbitration procedures is a plus.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
