What does this role look like?
We are seeking an expert Senior Administrative Assistant to partner as the right hand to our Director Propulsion, Structures, Ordnance and Controls; the Chief Engineering Director for FBM; and other PMT leaders as needed.
This role will involve initiative, diplomacy, agility, discretion and judgment in performing daily job duties and responsibilities.
In this dynamic role, you will:
Maintain calendars for two Directors, arrange meetings and create travel itineraries.
Screen callers, manage office mail/email and other correspondence and ensure correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled
Make arrangements for on-site and off-site meetings, conferences, teleconferences, video conferences, PowerPoint chart/agenda production and reproduction and coordinating badge access, as applicable
Multi-tasks effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
Partner and work strategically spanning across multiple FBM locations/sites and time zones.
Demonstrate initiative, discretion and tact in managing email, telephone calls and other requests.
Ensure all correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled.
Utilize personal computer and standard desk top software (full complement of Microsoft Office Suite) to access Lockheed Martin systems, compose correspondence and create presentation charts. Assure administrative detail on all projects.
Prepare and reconcile expense reports, submit catering requests, order office supplies and maintain office equipment, as needed.
Perform additional special assignments as required partnering with the FBM Line of Business (LOB) staff and in support of the Business Rhythm.
Support our Prep Team activities associated with VIP visits/meetings and Employee Engagement events.
Assist in employee engagement events as appropriate.
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
2+ years experience performing Administrative Assistant Duties.
Previous professional experience extensively using in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Demonstrated ability to coordinate events (e.g., small and large multi-discipline group meetings and conferences, teleconferences, and/or video conferences).
Previous professional experience managing travel arrangements and completing timely expense reports.
You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
Intermediate proficiency in other Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. ability to create graphs, pivot tables, automation, import/export information from one application to another).
Microsoft Teams and SharePoint experience.
Familiarity working with SAP Concur system.
Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures, expense reporting, time keeping system, virtual meeting processes and policies.
Team player, excellent phone etiquette, strong written and verbal communications skills.
Self-starter with strong initiative and exemplary organizational skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $51,100 - $90,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
