Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Zscaler Network Engineer (Zscaler and Aruba ClearPass) to join our Enterprise Network Services (ENS) team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions across our global infrastructure. You will work closely with network, security, and operations teams to ensure secure and seamless connectivity for our users and systems. Experience with the deployment and troubleshooting of Aruba ClearPass manager will be a plus.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Design, configure, and deploy Zscaler ZIA and ZPA solutions
Manage and maintain secure web gateway policies, SSL inspection, URL filtering, and firewall rules within Zscaler
Integrate Zscaler with Identity Providers (IDP) such as Azure AD and Okta
Troubleshoot issues related to internet access, ZPA application access, and client connector functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Zscaler deployments with enterprise security policies and compliance standards.
Collaborate with program teams to design and implement ZPA solutions to replace traditional VPN solutions
Understanding of DNS policies using ZPA and how to effectively communicate these polices to program or other network engineers within the organization
Monitor Zscaler services and generate reports on usage, threats, and performance metrics.
Document implementation plans, configurations, procedures, and best practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: High school diploma required with 14+ years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field plus 10+ years of work experience in a networking role
Experience: In lieu of degree, 14 + years experience required. Ten (10+) years of work experience with Bachelor's
Required Skills & Abilities: Hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA design, configuration and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN).
Experience integrating Zscaler with identity and access management platforms.
Familiarity with endpoint client deployment and management (Zscaler Client Connector).
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a plus
An understanding of IP addressing, DHCP and subnet management and deployment to meet site/program/system requirements
Understanding of network monitoring tools and operation
Understanding of Enterprise level network architecture
Preferred skills and abilities:
Experience managing Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager solutions for device authentication and wireless authentication for the enterprise
Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication, authorization, and device provisioning issues
Familiarity with wired and wireless network infrastructure (preferably Aruba/HPE)

The likely salary range for this position is $127,254 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
