Job Title: Electronic Wiring Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Electronic Wiring Technicians to join our team due to an increase in workload and backlog. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes. Responsibilities include assembling cables, integrated test adapters, and equipment racks, as well as performing continuity and isolation tests on both personal and peer work. Candidates should be adept at reviewing and comprehending internal or customer-provided documentation, including schematics, mechanical assembly drawings, block diagrams, and bills of materials, to complete assembly tasks. This role requires experienced technicians who can work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Read and work independently from drawings and schematics.

Assemble cables, integrated test adapters, and equipment racks.

Perform continuity and isolation tests on personal and peer work.

Review and comprehend documentation such as schematics, mechanical assembly drawings, block diagrams, and bills of materials.

Complete assemblies using provided documentation.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and work from drawings and schematics independently.

Chassis and harness experience.

Extensive knowledge of electronic wiring.

3+ years of direct experience in electronics.

Technical school training.

Experience in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Rack integration experience is a plus.

Prior J-Standard Certification is advantageous.

Experience with soldering and using hand tools like wire strippers and crimpers.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

IPC-610-A, IPC-620-A, or J-Std certification.

Experience in splicing and terminating optical fibers.

Understanding of ESD safety practices.

Basic fabrication/machining ability, including using sheet metal tools and milling machines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled small workplace with a relaxed and dog-friendly environment. Each employee has their own workstation with a lit bench. Enjoy a flexible schedule, choosing your shift hours between 10am-2pm. Work a 9-hour schedule Monday through Friday, with every other Friday off, alternating between 44 hours one week and 36 the next. Expect diverse job functions based on skill set, as the company does not produce high volumes of the same product.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bordentown, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
