The Sr. Financial Analyst reports to a Sr. Manager, Category Commercial Finance and will partner with the Marketing Development and Planning, Customer Commercial Finance, and Brand Finance teams to help drive profitable growth for the business. This role will support FP&A with monthly customer commentary.

Specific Responsibilities

Facilitates accurate forecasting of Sales, Trade Funding, Mix, Customer A&P, Trade A/R, and customer accruals, ensuring seamless integration into segment and corporate financial processes.

Provides insightful commentary on monthly forecast variances, delivering high-quality analysis for Brand x Channel intersections in close collaboration with Customer Commercial Finance.

Manages and analyzes customer pricing requests working closely with brand finance.

Conducts price exception analysis, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for optimization.

Evaluates price/mix drivers to uncover opportunities for category enhancement and strategic growth.

Ensures compliance with all internal and external requirements, consistently meeting key deliverables.

Takes proactive ownership of assigned issues, identifying root causes and driving effective resolutions.

Generates ad-hoc reports, providing timely and relevant insights to support decision-making.

Key Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

3 - 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)

Proficiency in PowerBI Dashboard building and data integration

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), computer literate

Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems strongly preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks

Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all levels of the organization
