Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Pay: $19.25/HR

Shift: Flexible and Good with Working Weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Team Lead to support daily operations on the production floor. This role involves supervising team members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency in order fulfillment and workflow. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, experience in warehouse or food production environments, and the ability to coach and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations and resolve routine employee issues.

Coach, train, and hold team members accountable for their performance.

Create and execute operating plans, manage attendance, and ensure team productivity.

Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and production standards.

Manage workflow using systems and dashboards.

Troubleshoot and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Essential Skills

Leadership & Team Management

Inventory and order pulling experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience in shipping and receiving

Material handling expertise

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bilingual skills preferred

Familiarity with warehouse systems and RF scanners

Loading and inventory control experience

Knowledge of food safety and warehouse systems

Understanding of HACCP principles

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, requiring daily collaboration with supervisors, managers, and team members to meet production goals. Team Leads are expected to work alongside their teams, providing guidance, training, and support. The role requires working in a cold environment typical of food production and storage facilities, with a strong emphasis on food safety, sanitation, and employee health and safety protocols. Flexible scheduling is available, including coverage for various shifts and weekends. The culture supports innovation, employee development, and participation in company initiatives.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
