Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker where you will engage in hands-on tasks throughout the day. This role involves disassembling electronics using basic hand tools and requires computer and data entry experience for inventory purposes. Primary projects include disassembly of computer components, outdated or damaged server racks, and memory banks. Regular lifting of up to 40 lbs is expected, with tasks rotating daily across various warehouse departments.

Responsibilities

Disassemble electronic components using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers.

Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel and a proprietary internal system for inventory management.

Engage in the disassembly of computer components, server racks, and memory banks.

Lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs throughout the day.

Rotate through various departments to perform different tasks.

Ensure safety by wearing steel toe or composite boots at all times.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Ability to follow written directions.

Capability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Competence in using hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in inventory, packing, picking, material handling, RF scanning, production, unloading, and shipping.

Work Environment

This warehouse facility is located in Sterling, VA, specializing in the data wiping, reselling, or destruction of old computers, racks, and servers. The environment is teamwork-oriented, requiring strong attention to detail for sorting materials. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM, and steel-toed boots are mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Front Royal, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
