Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will engage in hands-on activities within a warehouse environment. Your primary tasks will involve using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers to disassemble electronics. Additionally, you will perform computer data entry using a proprietary internal system and Microsoft Excel for inventory purposes. The role includes disassembling computer components, outdated or damaged server racks, and memory banks, with regular lifting of up to 40 lbs. You will rotate through various departments, which means tasks may vary slightly from day to day.

Responsibilities

Disassemble electronics using basic hand tools.

Perform data entry in proprietary systems and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking.

Disassemble computer components, server racks, and memory banks.

Lift and transport items regularly weighing up to 40 lbs.

Rotate through different departments to perform various warehouse tasks.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Proficiency in computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel.

Ability to follow written directions accurately.

Capability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Proficiency in using hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

RF scanner usage.

Experience in packing, picking, material handling, production, unloading, and shipping.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

The warehouse is located in Sterling, VA, where old computers, racks, servers, and other equipment are processed. Workers must wear steel toe or composite boots on-site. The company emphasizes teamwork and ensures cross-training in different departments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Front Royal, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
