Manufacturing Operator--Rotating Shifts

Chemical plant environment with a focus on elemental phosphorus production and remediation.

Title: Manufacturing Operator I

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Location: Closed site in Montana, previously producing elemental phosphorus.

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.,

Must be able to work 7AM-5PM for a few weeks while training then go to the rotating 12 hour shift scheduling.

Operate production equipment and assist in manufacturing, production, and packaging processes

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various process equipment related to Mud Still technology:

Mud Still Furnace

Centrifugal Pumps

Boiler

Air Compressor

Vent Gas Treatment System

Hot Water Systems

Fork Lift

Excavator

Execute tasks in a continuous-batch process aimed at recovering elemental phosphorus from clarifier material.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Preferred experience in phosphorus handling or manufacturing.

3 years of plant operation or maintenance.

Heavy equipment operation.

Basic math, computer, problem-solving skills, along with 1-3 years of production operation experience.

Certifications:

Fork Lift Operator Certification (preferred).

40 HAZWOPER Certification (preferred).

This position requires individuals who are safety-conscious, skilled in operating heavy equipment, and have experience in a production environment. The role is essential for the continuous operation in recovering phosphorus through advanced technology, and it necessitates expertise in maintenance and teamwork.
