Construction Skilled Laborer

A leading construction company is looking for Laborer Foremen to join the team and assist with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB). The company is looking for foremen to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!

Responsibilities:

Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of metal structures

Cut, stage, and bolt material into place according to blueprints

Utilize tools such as pry bars, tin snips, pliers, ratchets, spud wrenches, hammers, levels, and speed squares

Work safely out of scissor lifts while adhering to all OSHA regulations, including the use of PPE and harnesses

Essential Skills:

Welding and fabrication skills

Proficiency with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and structural welding

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Experience with MIG and Stick welding and structural steel

2+ years of general construction experience

Experience using hand tools and power tools

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Welding experience is nice to have but not necessary

Experience Level:

Intermediate-Expert Level

Work Environment:

Work takes place primarily in the field on various metal structures. Expect to work outdoors, follow safety regulations, and use PPE. Lunch breaks are provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
