Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Medical Front Desk Assistant to join our team in Foster City, California. In this Medical Front Desk Coordinator role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and play a key role in ensuring efficient office operations. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to build your career in a meticulous and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate staff or department.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and promptness.

Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation for easy accessibility.

Coordinate schedules and appointments to ensure smooth operations.

Handle medical coverage inquiries and provide accurate information as needed.

Utilize Epic software to manage data and ensure proper record-keeping.

Assist with general administrative tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment.

Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day office functions.

Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures to maintain a well-functioning workplace.

Requirements

Prior experience in an administrative or front desk role, preferably in a medical setting.

Familiarity with Epic software and its applications (Required)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Knowledge of medical coverage processes is highly preferred.
