Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Hickman, California, on a Contract-to-ongoing basis. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to support HR functions and administrative tasks while contributing to the efficiency of daily operations. The ideal candidate will bring reliability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

Perform payroll-related tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Enter and maintain data records in the system to ensure up-to-date information.

Assist with various HR functions, including managing I-9 documentation and filing.

Coordinate and facilitate clerical duties to support office operations.

Handle tasks related to 401k administration and ensure compliance.

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including coding and entering invoices.

Operate and manage multi-line phone systems effectively.

Utilize Microsoft Great Plains and Office Suite for accounting and administrative tasks.

Maintain organized records and documents for easy retrieval.

Provide support in answering inquiries and ensuring smooth communication within the team. Requirements

Proven experience in administrative or HR roles, demonstrating reliability and dependability.

Proficiency in Office Suite and Great Plains Accounting software.

Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently.

Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

Familiarity with payroll processes and accounts payable/receivable systems.

Knowledge of HR documentation, including I-9 forms, is preferred.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Strong organizational skills to handle clerical tasks and maintain orderly records.
