TAHOKA, TEXAS- LYNN COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT- one position for Medical Technologist;
perform various chemical and bacteriological test to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the department of Hematology, Chemistry, Toxicology, Immunohematology and Bacteriology. In a hospital setting, observe, monitor, record, interpret and report results on test performed with accuracy; Operate computers, equipment and analyzers and response to the instrument needs such as reagent, quality control and calibrations; Prepares reagent, performs quality control, does troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on the analyzers per manufacturer and department specifications. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science; Certification: American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certified or Eligible for Certification. At least 12 months medical clinic or hospital experience. Wage:
