Description We are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Spokane, Washington. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of our business. Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records through QuickBooks and other accounting software, including invoicing, reconciliation, and collection processes.

Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely processing and follow-up.

Manage and organize customer files in both physical and electronic formats for easy access and compliance.

Prepare detailed financial reports using industry-specific software and Microsoft Office applications.

Assist in coordinating meetings and supporting the Agency Principal with special projects.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and financial objectives are met.

Perform account reconciliation and ensure all financial transactions are balanced and accurate.

Support payroll processing and month-end close activities to maintain financial integrity.

Coordinate vendor deadlines, proof approvals, and confirmations related to publication and broadcast needs. Requirements - Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of general administrative procedures and bookkeeping practices.

Experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.

Ability to manage time effectively and work on job costing tasks.

Familiarity with payroll processes and month-end close activities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
