An Electro-Mechanical Technician job is available with a service client in Mountville, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance DMS, Conveyor, Scanners, GTP stations, Case sealers, trailer loaders, poly bag machine, Cardboard bailer boxing machines. We're looking for someone that has at least 1-2 years' experience at a distribution center with an automated material handling system with solid mechanical/electrical skills, and troubleshooting experience with control devices i.e., photo eyes, scanners, encoders, proximity switches, motor controllers, network devices, etc. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.

Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.

Troubleshoot conveyance problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.

Locate and track spare parts from inventory.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.

Qualifications:

HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.

Senior level 1-2 years" experience in mechanical knowledge of a technical or specialty area Mechanical maintenance experience with conveyor equipment experience is preferred as well as drives, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, and other related equipment.

Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts.

Must be able to act calmly in stressful situations.

Must be able to write concise, clear, and complete trip reports in the time frame required according to Client's procedures.

Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers for word processing, data base functions and communications.

Able to evaluate and analyze minor mechanical failures
