Requirements

At least 18 years of age

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, marketing or related field preferred

Certification in Third-Party Risk Management such as CTPRP preferred

Minimum 10+ years' experience in vendor management, procurement, risk management or related field; finance or banking industry background preferred

Proven expertise in assessing, managing and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers

Strong negotiation, management and decision making skills

Ability to present risk assessments to executive level

Experience with vendor management software

Must successfully pass background investigation and drug screen according to company policy

Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment

Job Description

Essential/Primary Job Duties:.

Establishes standards, policies and procedures that direct all aspects of vendor management

Evaluate and administer strategies relating to sourcing, evaluating, selecting, and acquiring vendor relationships.

Responsible for assessing and identifying the risks associated with vendor contracts

Continuously monitors third-party performance and compliance to ensure risks remain under control and vendors are meeting obligations.

Monitors service level agreements to ensure purchases meet ongoing business needs; addresses performance issues with vendors and arranges for resolution and restitution.

Maintains a comprehensive inventory of third parties and their compliance status

Establishes standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.

Evaluates current vendor management programs and identifies improvements needed

Meets with vendors to assess products, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.

Conducts research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer best pricing and product quality.

Assist contract owners in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with third-party relationships.

Provide guidance and training to contract owners on best practices for third-party risk management, enhancing knowledge and understanding of compliance responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality

Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time

Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
