Job Summary
As a Marketing and Community Engagement Specialist, this role will bridge marketing and communications initiatives with operational goals to enhance client and community relationships, improve employee engagement, and drive account retention. This position will focus on supporting the execution of divisional account communication plans, strengthening community and board relationships, driving local participation in national SSC marketing programming, capturing success stories, and researching and sharing industry best practices.
This role is essential to positioning the company as the FM leader and amplifying our voice and visibility in client and community spaces. Strong communication, creative thinking, and project management skills are vital to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Communication Plan Execution: Collaborate with account teams to gather data, design visually appealing presentations, and highlight key achievements, challenges, and strategic goals within the vehicles outlined in each account-based client communication plan. Owns communications compliance program and tracking for Division in support of Client Success team.
Community and Board Engagement: Partner with leadership to build meaningful relationships with local school boards, stakeholders, and community groups, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsible for regional coordination and execution of national SSC community engagement programming in partnership with operational leadership.
Employee Engagement: Help develop and implement programs to celebrate employee milestones, enhance workplace culture, and showcase employee contributions across accounts.
Storytelling and Brand Visibility: Capture and share compelling success stories, videos, photos, and testimonials from account initiatives, clients, employees, and community stakeholders. Responsible for building out and upkeep of account overview cut sheet, case study, proof point, and photo library for Division.
Industry Research and Best Practices: Conduct research to identify and share relevant industry/regional FM trends, innovations, and benchmarks, which will inform marketing strategies and operational improvements.
Marketing Material Development: Create customized marketing content, including recruitment flyers, Welcome Packets, event materials, and presentations tailored to client and operation needs.
Event Support: Coordinate and promote on-site events, such as site visits (sales), board meetings, community events, and recognition ceremonies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement, preferably in a corporate or facilities management setting.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge of branding, digital marketing, and event coordination.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting metrics.
Creative problem-solving skills with a service-oriented approach.
Remote; 60% -70% travel
