Job Title: Entry level Utility Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Inspection Technicians to join our team. This entry-level position requires individuals who are reliable, professional, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. The role involves conducting inspections of utility-owned gas meters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting audits and surveys.

Responsibilities

Perform periodic facility inspections and surveys on utility-owned gas meters.

Complete all necessary documentation accurately.

Ensure readings and records comply with company and regulatory standards.

Support the completion of regulatory audits and inspections.

Conduct integrity surveys, including direct assessments and close interval surveys.

Perform audit reviews with operations and provide support during audits.

Essential Skills

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Have a valid state driver's license and a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.

Demonstrate basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Exhibit strong organizational, interpersonal, and initiative skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of mathematics, algebra, and mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.

Mechanical skillset is a plus, including experience in cable technology, HVAC, piping, or auto mechanics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
