We Are Seeking
Team Gilbert is seeking a highly motivated Technical Services Coordinator to join our Police Department! The Technical Services Coordinators play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations by acting as technical liaisons for all things information technology related for our Police Department. The Technical Services Coordinators act as a technical liaison for communication and technology information for the Police Department and are responsible for addressing and troubleshooting issues related to Body Worn Cameras, Tasers, department-issued cell phones, etc. We are looking for a candidate who is technically savvy and passionate about serving their community!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES :
Coordinates storage and management of digital evidence in a cloud-based storage solution.
Manage, train, and support AXON-related products (i.e., Evidence.com, Fleet, BWC, Taser 7, Axon Interview, AXON Capture, Citizens, and Performance).
Assists with budgeting and tracking of Axon related equipment.
Manage and support all department-issued iOS smartphones and tablets.
Maintain and/or replace Axon hardware in patrol vehicles, including docking stations and mobile printers.
Administer and support other electronic devices, including handheld radios, portable fingerprint readers & radiological equipment.

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

Minimum Qualifications and Special Qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Two years of experience in body-worn camera applications and equipment preferred.
Two years of experience in technical support related to police technology and equipment, which includes iOS based smartphones and tablets.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.
Special Requirement: Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph is required. Candidates given a conditional job offer will be required to pass a psychological evaluation.
This position may be subject to working after hours/extra hours for training, issuing and/or repairing equipment; this could include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays depending on department needs.
