If so, The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) at Iowa State University is currently seeking applicants for an Executive Administrative Assistant position! This position will provide executive-level, collaborative administrative support to the Vice President for Research (VPR).
What You'll Do:
Planning, organizing, and overseeing arrangements for meetings with deans, industry organizations, and others.
Managing communications, including confidential, substantive, and time-sensitive assignments.
Assisting with projects and reports.
Monitoring the status of pending issues and deadlines.
Managing VPR's calendar, including prioritizing appointments and coordinating events and travel.
Supporting communications for VPR and office correspondence.
Assisting with event coordination.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to anticipate and meet the needs of the VPR by exercising sound judgment, taking initiative, and maintaining professionalism under pressure. They will also be able to understand, analyze, communicate, and coordinate highly complex issues and information.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
