Job Title: Office Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and personable Office Administrative Assistant to support our busy office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the face of the office, is a quick thinker, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and answer incoming calls with professionalism and warmth.

Provide direct support to the Office Manager with administrative and organizational tasks.

Handle general office duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.

Assist with bookkeeping tasks; experience with QuickBooks is a strong plus.

Create and manage documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace is organized and efficient.

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and internal communications.

Support project-related paperwork and documentation.

Essential Skills

Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the construction industry is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with QuickBooks or willingness to learn.

Highly intuitive, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems quickly.

Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hermiston, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
