Business Analyst - IS (Hybrid)

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting with the analysis and documentation of business processes, requirements, and project deliverables. The Business Analyst will work closely with experienced team members to learn and apply business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists with documenting, and validating business requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis and ensures alignment with project goals

Supports the creation of use cases, process flows, and user stories to effectively communicate requirements and ensures prioritized features are groomed and ready for sprint development

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and contributes to the development of solutions

Participates in requirement reviews, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals

Conducts market research to better understand the industry

Supports the facilitation of meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather insights from stakeholders

Contributes to testing efforts by assisting in test case development, execution, and defect tracking

Applies business analysis best practices, techniques, and tools under the guidance of senior team members

Contributes to maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation in a central location throughout the project lifecycle

Supports the team in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders

Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field, and three (3) years of relevant experience preferred

Strong interest in business analysis, process improvement, and problem-solving

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency in the English language is required

Basic understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.)

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and organize information effectively

Strong analytical skills and the ability to grasp complex concepts

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with diverse stakeholders

Relevant internships, coursework, or projects related to business analysis preferred

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay Information:

$75,000 - $85,000 a year plus a $6-8k Bonus
