Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Analytical Lab Technician to join our team for the 3rd shift, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. The technician will perform basic wet chemistry techniques for in-process and final testing labs, preparing and running samples of product through analytical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Perform basic wet chemistry techniques for in-process and final testing labs.

Prepare and run samples through analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, IR, Titration, Density, FTIR, Viscosity, and pH.

Support R&D with pilot plant samples.

Work based on the LIMS system.

Maintain documentation and follow SOPs.

Work independently within a team environment.

Collect samples for testing from the receiving area.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in wet chemistry and analytical instrumentation such as GC and HPLC.

Knowledge of chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biology.

Entry-level science laboratory skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a science field preferred, ideally with a major in Chemistry or a minor in Chemistry.

Associate degree in a science with chemistry coursework and 1-2 years of lab experience.

Experience with wet chemistry or analytical instrumentation, even if only in academia.

Punctuality, hardworking nature, and multitasking ability.

Proactive approach.

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial lab setting with both old and new equipment, characterized by a fast-paced atmosphere. The role involves working in large labs and wearing casual attire with a lab coat. Training will initially occur on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift. The environment offers exposure to a broad range of pharmaceutical science in an FDA-regulated setting, providing ample growth opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53/hr.
