We're looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. The world can't wait.You Have:2+ years of experience developing software with PythonExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining software applicationsExperience using Linux operating system and Bash scriptingKnowledge of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, or LambdaKnowledge of AWS networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, and security groupsAbility to work in an Agile team-based environment using collaboration tools such as Jira and ConfluenceTop Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Ability to obtain a DoD IAT Level II or Level III Certification within 60 days of hire dateNice If You Have:Experience with Java, C/C++, or GoExperience with build automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, or DevSecOpsExperience interacting with AWS APIs programmatically such as Boto3Experience writing and maintaining CloudFormation templatesExperience diagnosing and resolving issues within AWS environmentsExperience with software or systems architectureKnowledge of IAM roles, policies, users, and groupsDoD IAT Level II or Level III CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
