Primary Function
Our client, a global healthcare leader in diabetes, obesity care, and biopharmaceuticals, is seeking an Omnichannel Marketing Lead to support the development and execution of paid media strategies across a portfolio of brands. This role manages agency partnerships, provides strategic insights, and optimizes media performance and budgets to ensure alignment with brand goals.
The Paid Media team is part of the Omnichannel Engagement function within the Marketing & Patient Solutions group, which focuses on delivering data-driven, human-centered experiences across the customer journey. With a test-and-learn mindset and a collaborative, growth-oriented culture, the team values innovation, empathy, and continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in developing and coordinating paid media plans in partnership with Therapeutic Area (TA) and Brand leads, Omnichannel Orchestration, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand positioning and messaging.
Develop and present compelling media strategies for leadership endorsement, including identification of innovative opportunities.
Collaborate on portfolio-level media strategies that support broader business objectives across TAs and brands.
Manage media agency partners responsible for planning and buying, ensuring execution aligns with brand and channel goals.
Provide strategic insights and analytics to understand performance drivers and maximize the impact and efficiency of optimization efforts.
Translate brand goals and media strategy into actionable media plans; present to TA and Brand teams, provide recommendations, gather feedback, and ensure alignment.
Work with agency and Orchestration teams to ensure successful planning, execution, optimization, and analysis of all media activities, ensuring targeted and effective media buys.
Assist in the development and ongoing management of SEO and SEM strategies across the product portfolio, in partnership with HCP teams, incorporating governance, reporting, and analytics.
Support Market Development Paid Media and Media Integration initiatives in collaboration with Patient Marketing and Product Communications teams.
Support Channel Strategy leadership initiatives and participate in cross-functional working groups.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including TA/Brand leads, Orchestration, Procurement, CI&A, Communications, Regulatory, and Legal, to ensure seamless strategy, planning, and execution.
Identify and evaluate emerging media channels; present opportunities and points of view to stakeholders; help establish test-and-learn pilots to validate new approaches.
Manage brand and portfolio media budgets, ensuring alignment with media plans and business goals.
Define campaign setup parameters including testing methodologies, reporting structure, and modeling requirements.
Lead a test-and-learn approach to campaign execution and adoption of emerging media trends.
Partner with Commercial Effectiveness and vendors to contract, implement, and measure media conversion tracking.
Follow all internal/external contract procedures; monitor and manage agency expenses for value and efficiency.
Optimize media spend to ensure resource allocation aligns with quality expectations and budget constraints.
Participate in recurring media planning and performance meetings (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly) to review progress, address issues, and guide strategy.
Regularly track and reconcile expenses to ensure budgets remain on target.
Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated passion and success in traditional, digital, and emerging media channels
Strong experience managing comprehensive multichannel paid media plans
Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute both short- and long-term strategies effectively
Skilled in anticipating potential issues and implementing proactive solutions to avoid delays or crises
Strong analytical background with the ability to interpret media performance data and apply insights
Effective at managing deadlines, follow-through, and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and influence across various departments
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or related field required
Advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 8 years of paid media marketing experience
Experience in multichannel paid media strategy, planning, and execution required
