About the Role: Finance CCO Intern
The Team:
The Finance CCO Intern position is designed to enhance operational efficiencies and deliver comprehensive support to the global Finance CCO team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic and a proactive eagerness to learn, expanding their expertise within the Finance function. They should possess the ability to execute tasks with precision and attention to detail, while also maintaining a strategic perspective on the role of Global Finance Operations within the broader Corporate Finance framework.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Actively involved in Finance organization to achieve objectives according to plans and timelines
Work to support the Chief Client Office functions
Collaborate with the global Finance CCO team to identify and implement operational efficiencies.
Support the integration of finance technology solutions across various business functions.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports to aid strategic decision-making.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the Finance function's effectiveness.
Contribute to the development and refinement of finance-related processes and procedures.
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication of finance initiatives.
Work as an individual contributor as well as a close team member in a fast- paced environment
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $20 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a student with Sophomore or Junior standing in an accredited institution.
Open to all majors, with a preference for those in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
Demonstrates a strong interest in finance and a willingness to expand knowledge in the Finance function.
Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or work experience in finance or a related field is advantageous.
Familiarity with financial analysis tools and software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Experience in data analysis and research methodologies.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
