Run what runs the world This Position reports to: Global Sales Manager This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the Midwest. The work model for the role is: remote with the ideal living location being in the Sioux Falls, SD or Minneapolis, MN area. This role is remote (#Li-Remote) with travel. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned electrical contractors, at all levels of their organizations. Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin; motivate Electrical Contractors to prefer ABB Industrial Solutions over the competition. Educate customer base about differentiating products with technical presentations etc. and meet or exceed assigned volume and margin measurements Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor ABB and track sales leads, wins and losses in CRM system (Salesforce); perform analysis on hit-rate data Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 8+ years sales experience Minimum 5 years sales experience Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential projects to electrical contractors Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
