Entry level Shop Laborer!

Can interview and start ASAP

1st, 2nd, or weekend shift

$20.25-$23.89/hr.

Job Description

Kick start your career in manufacturing by learning how to use fabrication tools, follow processes, and use a variety of machines!

Responsibilities

Grind castings to remove excess material within assigned time and productivity requirements.

Inspect castings for defects.

Use jigs or fixtures to check castings when appropriate.

Appropriately place castings in box or pallet.

Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations and perform within the physical and environmental demands of the job.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.

Experience with grinders, deburring, and grinding techniques.

Ability to perform production, inspection, carpentry, deburring, polishing, and power tool operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Capability to perform tasks within the allowable time set by the company.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to read and write.

Basic computer skills and experience.

Ability to work in a team.

Ability to use tools and equipment.

3+ months of experience in a production/manufacturing role is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $40560.00 - $51771.00/yr.
