Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative candidate to join Sandisk's Global Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to optimize our overall supply chain planning processes, enhance supply chain efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our organization. This role will span across various planning functions such as integrated business planning, Silicon Planning, Product Planning, Capacity Planning and Inventory management.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to successfully navigate through a variety of supply and demand dynamics, as well as work cross-functionally across Business Units, Sales, Finance and other teams to drive decision consensus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and resolve supply chain bottlenecks to ensure demand-supply alignment
Drive supply chain strategies to balance optimal service levels and cost-effectiveness
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and address material and capacity constraints
Analyze and drive actions to optimize memory consumption to best meet overall revenue targets
Serve as a key liaison between various stakeholders, including Business Units, Fab Operations, Product Planning, Inventory Planning, Capacity Planning, Integrated business planning and Finance
Analyze and create the shippable supply based on the fab plan accounting for the buffers needed to run the backend supply chain
Drive data-driven decision-making processes using advanced analytical tools and techniques
Spearhead continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
Design, build, and improve Sandisk's supply chain by applying IE principles and using industry standard systems (Enterprise Resource Planning & Advanced Planning and Scheduling)
Provide project management expertise on various qualification activities for existing products and new products.
Analyze, create and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, and eliminate non-value added activities.
Creating, modelling new or understanding and maintaining existing mathematical models (based on excel, Python etc) to support CAPEX (capital expenditure) decision making
Proposing different ideas to reduce the overall CAPEX (capital expenditure) spend by optimizing on hand equipment while meeting the company's demand at the required buffer level
Drive efficiency on the functional processes through Automation
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Master's degree in Industrial engineering/supply chain management or equivalent with +4 yrs of relevant work experience
Experience with project management, change management, and innovative business problem solving
Experience working with Executive management in driving efficient decision making
SKILLS:
Effective communication skills with the ability to work with multiple organizations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong technical skills in area of study, especially data analytics
Proficient in advanced Excel (Power Query), Python, Tableau, SQL, Power BI

Compensation & Benefits Details
An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
