Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney with expertise in Elder Law and Estate Planning to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful cases while leveraging your legal drafting and document management skills. Based in Stevensville, Montana, this role provides a collaborative environment where you can contribute to impactful legal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and draft legal documents, including estate planning and power of attorney forms, using interactive legal drafting software.
Transition legal documents from standard word processing formats to customized templates.
Collaborate with the lead attorney to transform design concepts and notes into finalized legal documents.
Ensure compliance with jurisdictional differences in legal practices and document requirements.
Provide expertise in probate and estate administration, assisting with case-specific legal needs.
Manage case files and legal documentation efficiently using case management software.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and decision-making.
Handle client communications regarding estate planning and elder law matters.
Assist with complaint handling and claim administration within the scope of elder law.
Support civil litigation processes related to estate planning and probate cases. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Elder Law or Estate Planning.
Proficiency in legal drafting software and document management systems.
Familiarity with case management software and tools like Adobe Acrobat.
Strong understanding of jurisdictional differences in legal practices.
Experience in probate law and estate administration.
Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and paralegals.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Detail-oriented approach to legal document preparation and case management.
