We're Hiring: HVAC Mechanical Design Engineers (3 Openings) | Midtown Manhattan | Hybrid

Actalent Engineering is partnering with a dynamic A/E firm with offices in NYC, known for delivering high-impact projects across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors. We're hiring three HVAC Mechanical Design Engineers to join their growing team in Midtown Manhattan!

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY

Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days in-office, Fridays remote

Open Roles:

Junior Engineer - 2-5 years of experience

Mid-Level Engineer - 7-10 years of experience

Sr Engineer - 12-15 years of experience

? Key Responsibilities:

Design HVAC systems: heating, cooling, ventilation, hydronic distribution, and controls.

Perform system design calculations and energy modeling.

Create design documentation: basis of design reports, Revit/AutoCAD drawings, and specifications.

Ensure compliance with building codes and standards.

Collaborate with architects and engineers across disciplines.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Relevant years of experience in HVAC design (based on role).

Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP.

Experience with commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects (residential-only or commercial fit-out-only experience will not be considered).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr.
