POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Parts Specialist to join our maintenance and shop team. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ordering heavy equipment and truck parts for the maintenance team Managing part cores, and returns Purchasing parts, wear-parts, steel, welding supplies, and consumables Tracking stock levels and organizing inventories Maintaining vendor and supplier relationships SAFETY & COMPLIANCE We prioritize the safety and wellness of our construction processes by following the Company's safety programs and policies, thus mitigating risk and improving overall productivity of the projects with safety at the forefront. Paid time off and holidays available. Position Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a valid driver s license with a good driving record, and reliable transportation. 2+ years of purchasing and/or buying experience is preferred. Experience with heavy equipment and truck maintenance is preferred. Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Excel is preferred. Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations. Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and vendors. Must have good organizational skills. Ability to listen and take direction. Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees. Ability to follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. * Willingness to completion additional position specific skills training as required.
