Our thriving school is seeking an Operations Manager who will be a hands-on, reliable team player, ready to support the daily operations of our school while actively engaging with children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support and Coverage: Be present in classrooms when neededassisting teachers, filling in for absences, and ensuring engaging, safe, and nurturing learning environments for children.

Driving the School Van: Safely operate the school van to transport children for field trips, special events, or daily activities as required.

Food Preparation and Safety: Assist with meal prep, oversee snack and lunch times, and ensure proper handling and safety procedures are followed during food service.

Operational Management: Help manage daily school operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with all state licensing and safety regulations.

Staff Supervision and Development: Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluation of staff. Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.

Health and Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained environmentregularly checking playgrounds, equipment, and classroom safety.

Emergency and Safety Procedures: Conduct safety drills, oversee emergency preparedness, and respond effectively to any safety concerns.

Administrative and Paperwork Tasks: Handle documentation such as attendance, incident reports, licensing paperwork, and other administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Filling in for Teachers: Step into classrooms when teachers are out, providing direct instruction and supervision to maintain continuity of learning.

Community and Family Engagement: Build positive relationships with families, address concerns, and promote the school within the community through outreach activities.

Growth and Feedback: Be receptive to constructive feedback, eager to learn, and committed to ongoing personal and professional development.

Families: Address parent concerns and provide regular communication regarding their childs progress.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood education, management, or similar roles preferred.

Ability to lift to 35 lbs. for child safety, emergency situations, and classroom activities.

Extensive knowledge of state licensing regulations.

Strong leadership skills, high integrity, and excellent communication (verbal and written).

Emotional intelligence, compassion, and the ability to work harmoniously with others.

Must be flexible with schedule, able to close most nights, and available to work in classrooms, drive the school van, and assist with food prep as needed.

Comfortable taking constructive criticism and using it for growth.

Proficient in using computers, tablets, and relevant management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Do you have a strong understanding on state licensing regulations related to childcare centers?

Are you comfortable working directly with children in a classroom setting?

Are you comfortable handling administrative task such as paperwork and record keeping?

Do you have your own means of transportation?
