Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accurate sorting and labeling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.

Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination.

Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.

Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.

Label, weigh, and dimensioned freight.

Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock.

Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in material handling equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.

Ability to handle inventory and manage freight coding.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with forklifts and reach trucks is mandatory.

Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment

This is facility that is very clean, climate-controlled, and provides a pleasant work environment. We offer multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules:

Weekend shifts: Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM OR 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM **Candidates will train for the first week on the 1st shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.25/hr.
