Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor who will play a key role in overseeing our production operations. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. 2nd shift runs Monday - Friday from 3PM-11PM.

Oversee and manage a team of 35 employees on the East side, specializing in SMT/LED lights.

Coordinate scheduling, manage time cards, and foster positive employee relations.

Conduct daily check-ins and build overall team cohesion during the 2nd shift.

Communicate effectively to encourage and drive team results, ensuring adherence to standards and KPIs.

Implement conflict resolution strategies and provide positive reinforcement to team members.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

This role is based in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment that is clean and features high-speed machines. Employees must adhere to a dress code that includes long pants, closed-toe non-slip shoes, shirts with sleeves, and a smock provided by the company. Safety glasses and gloves are issued as needed. Personal belongings can be stored in provided lockers, and the facility offers a lunchroom equipped with refrigerators. Security personnel are present during all shifts to ensure a safe working environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Coopersville, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
