DESCRIPTION
The Senior Manager, Talent Operations and Compliance will lead Acosta's Enterprise Talent Operations strategy to support operational excellence and compliance. This role will lead the efforts to optimize, maintain and evolve TA systems, tools, programs and processes. This role leads the day-to day operations guidance and hands-on support to the Talent Acquisition tam and other internal business stakeholders to increase TA operational efficiency and productivity. This leader will partner with several cross-functional teams to continue to evolve the pre-boarding and onboarding experience at Acosta Group. RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee multiple teams responsible for the entire organization's onboarding processes, ensuring smooth and efficient experience for new hires.
Manage and monitor system integrations to streamline onboarding workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
Supervise the execution of background checks and I-9 verification to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Lead, develop and mentor the North American Talent Operations team.
Manage the TA Tools, systems, reporting and vendor relationships, as appropriate.
Act as SME (ATS systems) focusing on systems capability, building metrics, reporting, process improvement and design materials to train TA members accordingly.
Collaborate with key internal partners (all TA teams across the enterprise, HRBPs, COEs, HR Shared Services and the Business) to identify opportunities to drive automation and create efficiencies for a better candidate experience.
Stay abreast of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations specifically pertaining to pre-employment requirements.
Actively support RFPs from a pre-employment requirement perspective ensuring systems account for business specific requirements such as background checks or drug screenings, etc.
Identify and build reporting capabilities to become a data driven function.
Actively engage in evolving the Acosta Group's onboarding program with cross-functional teams.
Establish a culture of process excellence and continuous improvement.
Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators, metrics, reporting, and analytics to provide visibility and transparency of the effectiveness of operational execution for business stakeholders.
Establish strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external business partners to resolve operational issues, communicate updates, create an experience of continuous improvement and proactive communication. Ensure root cause of issues are analyzed to prevent reoccurrence.
Develop and deliver presentations to communicate operational effectiveness, company practices, or communicate recommended system changes.
Responsible for the selection, development, performance management and retention of the TA Operations team, with focus on building a best-in-class team. Drive strong performance management in the team through clear expectations, priority setting, frequent touchpoints, and feedback.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Manage escalations with priority and service excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business management, Human Resources or related field preferred
Eight (8) or more years of work experience in a related field - HR operations, HR business partner, Talent Acquisition, HR Service Delivery, preferably for organizations over 10k employees.
Four (4) or more years supervisor or management experience required.
Previous experience with medium to large complex businesses in a shared services model strongly preferred.
Experience with Oracle preferred.
U.S. experience required and Canada experience strongly preferred.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, Visio, Power Point, and SharePoint.
Must be able to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with payroll processing schedules.
Project management skills a plus.
Experience in modeling of complex business processes a plus.
