Executive Assistant

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD onsite daily.

Responsibilities:

Support department executive and staff for scheduling, telephone and email contact, meetings, timekeeping and budgeting.

Provide logistical, data entry and record keeping support for engineering activities including travel, recruiting, purchasing, office supplies, new hire onboarding, etc.

Back up other Administrative Assistants within Engineering as needed.

Maintain security, integrity and confidentiality of information.

Answer executive phones and direct calls as needed.

Arrange staff travel and submit expense reports.

Track department expenses and reconcile department purchasing card.

Organize group events and meetings.

Follow up on time reporting to ensure completion by team members.

Requirements:

2 or more years of experience in a related role

2 or more years using MS Office Suite and Outlook/Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Good oral and written communication

Good interpersonal and team skills

Ability to multi-task and follow-up

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
