Your opportunity
Subject matter expert for the different market data vendor products and services offered and how they are utilized at JHI
Ensure JHI's utilization of market data products and services is compliant with contracted terms
Assist and / or lead projects around the evaluation of various data requirements and provide recommendations for areas to consolidate, optimize or rationalize data
Manage the various market data products and services and provide oversight (data feeds, terminals, index licensing, etc. and the oversight of agreed upon service level agreements, and ensure that all vendors are meeting outlined standards)
Troubleshoot and assist with all inquiries, requests and issue resolution from internal stakeholders in support of market data products and services
Assist operations and front office with any incorrect data, late files, rebalance concerns, index changes/notifications, errors, ad-hoc data requests, etc.
Provide analysis of vendor proposals and various internal management to provide Procurement any assistance in external negotiations
Assist in the management of reconciliation of vendor payments
Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
Solid background within the Financial industry and specifically to various forms of investment data, front office systems, data providers and exchanges.
General knowledge of vendor management practices, budgeting and finance
Proficiency in MS-Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) required
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, build consensus, integrate multiple streams of information and have a proven track record of building effective working relationships with senior level business partners.
Must be a self-motivated individual who grasps concepts quickly, takes ownership of projects and processes and is a team player
High level of interpersonal and analytical skills, with a proven capability to make contributions to teams and initiatives
Understand customer service/client experience techniques and be able to implement them in a demanding environment
Enjoys working in a close team environment
Ability to work and develop relationships with various individuals at all levels of the company
Nice to have skills
Experience working in the financial industry or other regulated environment preferred.
Masters degree or equivalent
Experience working with a multi national firm

Compensation information - US ONLY
The base salary range for this position is $97,000 - $102,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open until July 31, 2025.
