The Associate Vice President of Marketing & Sales Technology is a seasoned leader in software engineering, specializing in the agile delivery of MarTech and Sales CRM solutions. In close partnership with our Product team, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the technology roadmap for marketing and sales platforms. Additionally, the Associate VP leads our software engineering teams, ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives and driving innovation across our MarTech and CRM capabilities.
The Associate Vice President of Marketing & Sales Technology is a seasoned software engineering leader, specializing in the Agile development and implementation of MarTech and Sales CRM solutions. This role collaborates closely with Product Leadership, to shape the technology roadmap, ensuring seamless integration of digital marketing, provider sales enablement, and member acquisition strategies. The Associate VP leads software engineering teams, leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven insights to drive innovation, operational excellence, and compliance within a highly regulated industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a large multi disciplined organization focused on the following:
Expanding Salesforce SalesCloud/HealthCloud solution with broader Agent Onboarding & Compensation capabilities and to External sales agents.
Introducing AI-powered solutions to enhance agent productivity, lead conversion, and consumer engagement.
Modernizing Payor Agnostic Call Center Technology, integrating Genesys/Salesforce solutions to enhance customer support, provider engagement, and retention strategies, while ensuring data security and compliance.
Unifying fragmented MarTech capabilities (Unica, SFMC, Acoustic, mPulse & Adobe) to enable audience segmentation, journey orchestration, omnichannel outreach, and campaign personalization, for enhanced customer engagement.
Modernizing Regulatory Communications Capabilities (e.g., Alternate Format, Print, Translation) to modern cloud-based solutions to improve customer experience and regulatory adherence.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred). Confidential - VP Software Engineering.
10+ years of experience in software engineering, MarTech, and Sales CRM platforms, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive experience in agile software development, DevOps, and cloud-based solutions. Strong background in Salesforce SalesCloud, Adobe Experience Platform, AI-powered automation, and enterprise marketing technologies.
Experience in the healthcare payor industry is preferred but not required.
Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformations, including AI-powered automation and personalized customer engagement platforms.
Familiarity with industry compliance and regulatory requirements is preferred (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines, TCPA, and data privacy laws).
LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY
Ability to define, shape and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Strong decision-making skills, balancing compliance, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring seamless collaboration across marketing, sales, product and IT leadership teams.
Experience in mentoring and developing high-performance engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$189,400 - $260,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
