Job Description:

MCIS Manager

The MCIS Manager and resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support new operator and operator sustainment training curriculums for the facilities Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)/ C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) system(s).

HOW A MCIS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Responsible for initial instructor and SME training of personnel assigned instructor duties for that specific MCIS/C4ISR system(s).

Works under the direct supervision of the Training Section Lead and assists in all aspects of preparation and execution of MCIS training.

Plans, coordinates, and executes individual Mission Command Information System Training.

Assists unit leadership in the planning individual training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.

Update Programs of Instruction.

Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTP's.

Provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or scientific discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

Required Experience: Minimum of 8 years of military related experience

Required Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.

Security Clearance Level: Secret

Required Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs.

Preferred Skills: Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.

The likely salary range for this position is $70,366 - $95,202. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
