Panel Builder/Electrical Assembler | First Shift | $22-24+HR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical drawings, proficient use of measuring equipment, and knowledge of power transmission components. This role involves working with various electrical assemblies and components, ensuring precise and quality work in line with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Pass a pre-employment math test.

Proficiently use measuring equipment.

Read mechanical drawings without assistance.

Understand dimensional tolerance.

Read a tape measure within 1/16".

Possess knowledge of power transmission components and best assembly practices.

Have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Perform schematic, assembly, and blueprint reading.

Build and wire control panels, including PLC assembly and electrical wiring.

Use micrometers and other measuring tools for accurate assembly.

Bend conduits and handle wire harnesses and assemblies.

Understand and implement electrical circuits and control panel wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

3 years of experience in mechanical equipment assembly preferred.

Education in Industrial Electricity or Controls (apprenticeship, degree, military) preferred.

Valid Driver's License with a good driving record preferred.

Strong mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and percentage calculations.

Ability to perform conversions (e.g., watts to kilowatts) and calculate loads and air flow in CFM.

Located in north central Ohio, our 165,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with the latest metal manufacturing equipment and state-of-the-art design software. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
