Child Sex Trafficking Team (CSTT) Program Specialist - Austin, Texas

The Office of the Governor is looking for a Child Sex Trafficking Team Program Specialist (Program Specialist III) to work in the Public Safety Office.

The salary is $4,583.34 - $5,083.34 a month ($55,000.08 - $61,000.08 a year).

What You'll Do

This is a job that performs

complex (journey-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. The focus of this position is providing support and coordination for the CSTT, including coordinating the ongoing statewide expansion of training and implementation of the Commercial Sexual Exploitation-Identification Tool (CSE-IT); preparing and disseminating meeting agendas, meeting minutes, work products and other information to various parties; frequent contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; and performing other internal support work.

Coordinates statewide CSE-IT screening expansion, training, and post-training technical assistance.

Performs a variety of activities to support the CSTT, including data compilation, research and analysis, meeting preparation, and preparation/dissemination of meeting materials.

Compiles and edits data for charts, graphs, and databases.

Assists in analyzing data and supports preparation of data summaries and reports.

Assists with preparation of periodic and special reports and ensures that deadlines are met.

Assists with research and editing of agency publications such as brochures, forms, manuals, and reports.

Prepares and compiles presentation and training materials.

Ensures that CSTT website content is comprehensive and up-to-date.

Manages and maintains calendars and travel arrangements.

May respond to general inquiries regarding CSTT activities.

How You'll Qualify

High school graduate or equivalent; and

Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative assistance, support, and coordination.

Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.

You're a Great Fit with

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in

government, criminal justice programs, business, or a related field; and

Experience in the field of criminal justice, victim advocacy, or crime victim rights.
