Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Southlake, Texas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the organization while developing your accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.

Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and accuracy.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion.

Perform bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies promptly.

Reconcile subsidiary accounts to ensure alignment with the general ledger.

Prepare and review financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.

Generate regular financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Process invoices, payments, and manage vendor communications effectively.

Support accounts receivable collections by following up with customers on overdue payments.

Provide documentation and assistance during audits and financial reviews. Requirements - Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

Ability to create and analyze journal entries and assist in month-end close procedures.

Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication abilities to work collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders.

Prior experience in budget preparation and variance analysis is a plus.
