Description

We are offering an opportunity to join our team in San Leandro, California, as a Customer Service Representative in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for customer service requests, work orders, and order entry. You will also be tasked with various duties such as answering multi-line phones, assisting team members with inquiries and concerns, as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the reception area. This role demands a high level of multitasking and the ability to handle frequent interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Entry & Processing: Input and manage high volumes of order data accurately and efficiently into order management systems.

File Exporting: Export order data and convert files into .csv formats for integration with the company's 3PL warehouse systems.

Inventory Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory transactions and discrepancies following shipments from the 3PL warehouse.

Communication: Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team and the Manager overseeing 3PL inventory. Respond to inquiries and provide updates as needed.

Reporting & Documentation: Use Excel to create and maintain organized records of orders, inventory transactions, and general operations processes.

Process Improvement: Suggest and help implement system or process improvements to streamline order and inventory management workflows.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally involving order entry or inventory coordination.

Excel Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to data exporting, basic formulas, and file format conversions (e.g., .csv).

Technical Aptitude: Comfort with learning and using order management systems and 3PL coordination tools.

Detail-Orientation: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in working with data.

Efficiency: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a volume-driven workflow.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of collaborating across departments.

Interest in Operations: Enthusiasm for learning about and engaging with operations and logistics processes.
