$23.89 - $29.90 per hour

Job Description:

About This Role

Provide financial support for the Merchandising department, including processing of invoices for payment, vendor debits/credits, and retailer credits. Ensure funds are collected against agreements and retailers are properly credited.

What You'll Do

Project Liability Accounts:

Maintain accurate account ledger detail

Ensure SAP balance properly stated, request journal entries as needed

Request all vendor checks, credits and chargebacks into account

Request all retailer credits from account

Process all invoices into account

Ensures all transactions are approved per signature authorization

Categorize all account transactions in support of reporting (approximately $150M absolute value and 70K transactions annually)

Vendor Rebates:

Maintain records for all rebate agreements

Support Merchants in renewal of expired agreements

Coordinate entry of agreements into Vistex

Estimate/calculate balance due, collect from vendor, and process credits/chargebacks for non-Vistex agreements (approximately $60M and 200 payments annually)

Obtain year-end estimates and audit confirmations for non-Vistex agreements from vendors

Subject Matter Expertise/Ad-Hoc Requests:

Respond to vendor and retailer inquiries

Respond to merchant requests

Provide on-the-spot guidance and training to business partners

Required Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bookkeeping or accounting work experience, including in-depth understanding of vendor payment processing and payment terms.

Excellent communication skills, including effective verbal and written proficiencies

Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, specifically strong skills in Excel.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to understand, investigate and resolve problems using root-cause research skills

Experience connecting cross-functionally and developing effective internal and external working relationships.
