Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for executing various technical aspects of a given program while ensuring that cost and schedule objectives are met.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional team leads and engineers to plan and execute projects.

Ensure teams have appropriate product and technical requirements, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively.

Establish realistic estimates for completing tasks or projects to meet customer and internal deliverables.

Perform requirements development, allocation, and compliance assessment.

Generate block diagrams for various PLD/FPGA & Digital design concepts and circuit topologies.

Prepare for and conduct SOI audits, internal and customer design reviews.

Perform preliminary and detailed analyses/simulations on both digital and/or analog interfaces.

Ensure overall compliance to internal processes such as NPI, standard work, and design reviews.

Meet or exceed DFx, Design-To-Cost, and Design-To-Weight targets.

Support internal and external customer meetings.

Support design assurance and/or qualification testing.

Support the transition of a program from development to production.

Essential Skills

Experience in design and electrical hardware design.

Experience in aerospace engineering and aerospace defense.

Proficiency in Siemens NX.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

Board layout expertise.

5+ years of aerospace experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with FPGA or DO-254 is a plus.

The work environment is characterized by a central location with the ability to support multiple locations in Connecticut and partnerships with other states. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
