Job Title: Staff Accountant

Reports To: Controller & Accounting Manager

Onsite Monday-Friday in Vancouver, WA.

With over 50 years of experience, the company provides comprehensive solutions including design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and on-site support.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-driven Staff Accountant to support our accounting department. This role will be instrumental in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting various accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable, and expense management.

Key Responsibilities

Process billing and maintain contract documentation

Support Accounts Receivable and Sales teams

Provide backup support for Cost Accounting and Accounts Payable

Manage company credit cards and employee expense reports

Administer SAP Concur and assist users with system support

Initiate ACH payments and wire transfers

Process payments, deposits, and record cash transactions

Organize and maintain accounting and departmental documentation

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional accounting experience

Strong working knowledge of accounting processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Team-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP and Concur

Familiarity with both Accounts Payable and Receivable processes

Exposure to financial reporting and reconciliation

Work Environment

This position is based in a collaborative and supportive office environment. You'll work closely with a dedicated team and report directly to the Controller & Accounting Manager.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
