Description

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client's team on a contract basis in Beaverton, Oregon. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in financial management and is capable of handling a variety of accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll processing, managing invoices, and supporting budget oversight.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and reconcile bank account balances to ensure accuracy.

Review and manage incoming mail to address financial matters promptly.

Initiate and process bank deposits as required.

Handle the processing of monthly invoices

Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees.

Assist staff with budget management and provide financial guidance.

Track payable schedules and remind team members of key deadlines.

Review contracts and budgets to ensure deliverables align with requirements.

Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable.

Support month-end close procedures to ensure proper financial reporting.

Requirements - Proficiency in account reconciliation and financial record management.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

Experience in bank reconciliations and bookkeeping.

Familiarity with payroll processing and related systems.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

Ability to perform month-end close procedures efficiently.

Background in grant accounting or similar financial management.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
