Front Desk Administrator

Immediate Need for a Medical Administrative Assistant position in an Orthopedic office, specializing in hand surgeries.

Position: Medical Administrative Assistant Front Office Environment

Location: Orthopedic Office

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Responsibilities:

Serve as a front office administrator.

Answer phones and manage communication effectively.

Utilize SequelMed software for scheduling.

Manage medical files systematically.

Communicate with insurance carriers regarding authorizations and billing information.

Support occasional in-office procedures, which may affect the daily schedule.

Possibility of occasional overtime due to the nature of the practice.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail.

Pleasant demeanor in person and over the phone.

Experience in the medical field is preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of medical billing is advantageous.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour.

This role is ideal for someone with front office/administrative experience in a medical setting and a strong understanding of medical procedures and billing.
