CNC Machinist

Pay: $28-35

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machinist to perform setups, edits, offsets, and operate CNC Horizontal Mill Machines with Fanuc Controls. You will be responsible for machining exotic plastics and metals primarily for the medical and semiconductor industries. The work involves mainly short-run and proto@type projects, with occasional long runs.

Responsibilities

Perform setups, edits, and offsets on CNC Horizontal Mill Machines using Fanuc Controls.

Operate CNC Mill Machines efficiently.

Machine exotic plastics and metals for the medical and semiconductor industries.

Work on short-run and proto@type projects, with some long runs.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in setting up, editing, and operating CNC Mill Machines.

At least 2 years of experience working with industry tolerances in medical, aerospace, or semiconductor sectors.

1 year of experience in horizontal milling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Mori-Seiki machines is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean and open building, recently expanded with a brand new clean room. The position is for the 1st shift, working from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk River, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
